Hmmm....my '74 has the tank in the top pic and my '75 has the one in the bottom pic. The '74 didn't have a vapor tank.

I can't vouch for that tank information 100%, that's just what I get from the FSM.  I'm sure there can be variations across the board for California models, non-emission models and so on??  I can't remember off the top of my head, do 620 tanks mount to bed, frame or both??

Mine tank comes with the vapor tank by the bed tucked in.
Okay evap test passed. Still want to replace the tank as the one on the truck looks beat up and a huge dent.

What was the problem with the evap system?  I have my old 78 620 tank and it honestly looks identical!  I will snap a picture when I go back out in the garage.

Emissions still failed by a small margin. passed the 15mph failed the 25mph test. Back to the drawing board.
It's missing several factory emissions parts.
I'll do a different wtb post.

That evap canister is in the wheel well at the filler neck right?

A vacuum hose was the culprit. And the hose that connects to the filler neck was plugged with a bolt.
I keep finding surprises.

GAS tank usually bolts up to the bed unless you had a cab & chassis model, those tanks are frame mounted
