Prostang, I clearanced my idler arm, and ran a shorter belt on the alternator to allow it to tighten closer to the block. I may have clearanced the alternator adjusting bracket but I do not recall. I flipped my centerlink by flipping the tapered holes on both the idler and pitman arms 180*. At the time I welded them up and machined the taper but now tapered inserts are available and will allow you to drill and simply weld in the insert. I have all the pictures but photobucket screwed us by banning all 3rd party hosting. They want a measly $400/year to bring them back up. Not sure on what to do just yet. Right now I will offer you the same service as the other who have asked about pictures. Send me a pre pad envelope and at least an 8GB SD card and I will send you all my pictures free of charge. Thanks for the interest!

Do you still have pics when you installed your sr20det in your 620. I'm trying to open it up but it's not allowing me to. Please help me out new to the sr20 swap. Thanks

The "build" was done before I wrote this how to. This how to is as done as I will do it. The info here will give you a good idea of how you can get the engine in and mounted. Everything else is personal preference. Since I completed the swap many many others have followed suit with much nicer builds than mine. Plenty of info out there these days. Thanks!

Rebuild the L20!!!   Its been so long since I did the swap I'm not sure if I can accurately finish this thread. WHat I have published, however, will get you going in the right direction. The SR swap is cool and expensive. Sometimes I wish I just had a KA.  All the extra crap on a turbo engine is a headache.  I am constantly tinkering and replacing things.

Project is on hold.  Life is in the way for now.  I have no garage and no time.   I drive it  when its  not raining,  no salt, and I'm not on the bike.
