I have had several Datsuns over the years, my first one was a 1967 Datsun 1600 roadster that I restored back in about 1995, I daily drove that car for years, my next was a 1971 Datsun 521 truck which was stock when I bought it in about 1996, but the first time it would not get me and my friend up to the top of the hanggliding hill to go flying, it was upgraded to an L20b engine/dogleg 5 speed, it went up the hill fine after that.
I still have them two vehicles to this day, the Datsun roadster other than being upgraded to an U20 looks the same as it did back in 1995, but the 521 truck bears no resemblance to what I bought back in 1996.
Things went along in my life for the next decade until 2008 when I bought a 1982 Datsun 720 diesel truck, I don't know what happened to me, but I just went crazy over them diesel trucks, I still have one left, it's a 1980 Datsun 720 that I converted over to a stretched  SD25 diesel dually kingcab longbox, this conversion did something to me, that is when I bought another basket case 521 with plans to make a kingcab, mission accomplished, it's a 1969 Datsun kingcab diesel stepside.
This is my 521 work truck.
This is my 720 diesel until recently.
And this is where it is at right now, it still doesn't run properly yet, but I can now say, "turbodiesel".
I have several other Datsun vehicles that I will eventually talk about, but I will post a photo of my fleet.
The roadster
The 520 kingcab ute
The 1964 Datsun NL320, you can see that the 521 kingcab was a 4X4 at one time.
And finally the last one I will likely be talking about, a 1962 Datsun U320 that I am going to restore over the next few years.

Now you see why I am TMD, I have To Many Datsuns, but I am old and can do what I want now.

Thankyou for the welcome
What is it you think you missed?

It's been collected over a 20 year span, I have owned several more Datsuns over the last ten years, but they were bought dead, and sold running, these are the ones that mean stuff to me in one way or another, the red  521 kingcab is my first big conversion, the white 520 kingcab ute has massive hours devoted to it over a 3 year period of time, I kept changing my plans on that one, it also was a 4X4 at one time.
I am not going to start a build thread until I actually find the time to work on one of them, right now I am organizing, which takes time itself, plus I get distracted easily.
