WOW,  it has been awhile.   Even though I don't post updates much anymore I am still here and I visit the forum weekly.   My wife and I both work full time  but we work opposite schedules  and that can be hectic sometimes with my little one.  Don't worry  though, I haven't abandoned my project.  As some of you may know I sold the 240sx and bought a 2013 CBR to ride when the weather is right.  I still daily drive the 620, although she is down right now with a few blown manifold gaskets.  I have the parts ordered and I will update with pics of that later on.  I really cant afford to buy a different daily so in the coming weeks I will be making some upgrades to the 620.   My goal by spring 2016 is to have an upgraded turbo/fuel system/ecu.   Right now I want to focus on suspension and braking.  Parts are EXPENSIVE so I will be chipping away at this a little at a time.   On top of the suspension work I plan on building a custom air box, and glove box to house my ecu.

Got the new manifold gaskets installed.  Manifold has slight crack internally,  gonna run it as long as I can.  Need to start saving for top mount manifold.   Now having a drivetrain vibration, likely a u joint, back to the garage.

Shew what a pile of rust.  I never wanted to take my headliner down because its impossible to put it back up without removing both front and rear glass.  I couldn't take it any more.  I took it all down and the rust was as bad as I had envisioned it.  I have so much work to do.  I wish I had a garage where I could work on it a little at a time when I get the chance.  The carpet has rusted my floors, ripped it out too.  I'm never putting carpet back in here ever again. PICS.

Hey Braden,

I wanted to ask, what did you do about the wastegate to steering column clearance? It looks like I might be able to modify the bracket to fit in the tight space but its looking questionable.

Thanks

My how time has gotten away.

The h190 blew out awhile back. I would say it was a hell of a rear end to stand up as long as it did.

The goal this year is to get the truck roadworthy again.

I'm NOT going back with the h190. I guess since I'm going to be a mechanical engineer I feel like I owe it to myself to make the H233B work since no one else has before.

Knotty, I still want that h190 4.11 gear set to put away for a future project though.

Pictures of h190 carnage, its hard to believe I took these pictures some 15 months ago.

Got the H233B disassembled for inspection. I pressed off drum backing plates, wont be needing those.
4.625 gear set, not gonna work. Gotta order a 4.11
Got some z32 calipers awhile back for a steal. They had virtually new OEM SUmitomo (Now Advics) pads in them. Definitely gonna re use these and save some $$.

Stay posted.

Lets tinker on the turd!

Many days worth of work just to get to this point. I had a ton of fun rolling this thing down hill with ZERO brakes. Thanks to my brother who helped me push it into the garage. Stay tuned.

I think we might need some leaf spring bushings.

I will have a few parts posted for sale soon. Stay tuned.
