I tackled the unsatisfactory flooring.

Used a angle grinder and wire wheel attachment. Luckily just surface rust, no holes/rot.

Then used this 3-part system.

Which led to this...

Multiple hours masking.

Went to the local paint supplier, and purchased this paint #307.

Combined it with this.

First coat.

That looks great! Any reduction in noise when driving or she not quite back together yet? I'm curious to see how the addition of carpet and undercoating on well, the underside, will help road noise. I don't even have carpet in mine and it sounds like gravel in a tin can inside the cabin.

I am not sure yet, but I will find out early next week. I finished it last Sunday, and want to give it a week to cure before I reassemble the interior.

Another 620 owner told me that this made an improvement in his, so I decided to do the back wall as well as the floors. I will feel much better having this done, for sound reasons as well as ridding the truck of that surface rust. Also, no worries about this ever degrading.

Did you mix the two together or put down liner first then paint?

Looks awesome

You mix the color into the liner before you spray it. It's referred to as a 'tintable' kit. It's incredibly easy, just mix in the harder, and some paint, and spray. The hardest part is taking your time and doing a thorough job masking. I spent a few hours masking, and a few minutes total spraying...

Thanks! If your floors are not in great shape, it is a perfect way to improve them.
