HI. anyone know what shocks fit the 620 pickup with a 3'' drop I like the KYB brand but if you buy the stock fit shocks they may bottom outDead . any help please thanks

Pro comp is the only company I can find that makes shocks specifically for a lowered 620.  The are called   "Toxic" shocks.   I plan on ordering some shortly for the front of my 620.

I literally just finished putting new KYB Gas-A-Just shocks on my lowered 720 about 30 minutes ago. They are stock height shocks for that truck. I lowered it about 4" in the back with 3" blocks and I took out the overload leaf that was on it. I lowered the front about 3.5" by turning down the torsion bars. I e-mailed the tech guy at KYB with all of the static measurements i.e. wheels on the ground with the shocks out vs. wheels suspended and they said the stock shocks will work. They told me what #s to use and I just ordered them from Amazon or Rock Auto, I can't remember.Whichever was the cheapest. I think it's something about their shocks that they have more travel than the average Monroe shock and a different valving system that allows you to use them on lowered vehicles with no problem. I also had them on my lowered 66 Chevy pickup. They came with the lowering kit so from a very reputable suspension company so I've been convinced of their quality ever since.

you can use stock shocks when you lower your datsun, When you lower it, all your doing is raising the rearend. No need to change them, unless your shocks are worn out is why your replacing them.

Kim, that is incorrect.   When you lower it you effectively change the position of the control arms (front) and you move the axle closer to the bottom of the bed (rear).  When the control arm angle is changed it shortens the available stroke of the shock by however much you lowered the truck. I have blown several sets of stock shocks. It doesn't matter how new your shocks are, after bottoming them out several times, they will blow and become in effective. The proper way to address this issue is to cut the top shock mounting location and raise it by the amount the truck was lowered.   This would allow the shock to rebound its intended distance without bottoming out. Maybe a combination of lowering shocks and raising the top mounts would be best,  this would solve the issue without causing too much interference. Careful measuring would need to take place to ensure uniformity on both sides.

when I lowered the 521, I didn't have to relocate the rear shocks, I assume that's what datjeep is asking. 
The bottom of the shocks are mounted to the lower bracket (under the leafs) which is still in it's same position, nothing changed.

 Kim your right on the rear shock location, however the front is where they always blow.  The shocks mount on the U bolt plate beneath the axle.

he asked just about the rear shocks, lol

it be hard to get a 3" drop on the front unless you drop it on the frame, me think. 

anyways, pic of the 521 rear. You will note, the outter U bolt ends was cut shorter to avoid them to cut into the inside of the tire.

Good advice on the cutting the U bolts,   this is a MUST!!!!   Everybody remembers what I did to a like new tire.  Lol   Kim,  I dropped my front by about 3 inches.  Probably more like 3.5"

I have to get myself some of these shock. This would be my third pair of shock i would buy. stock shocks bottom out like braden said and then they work like crap
