I know it has been a while because I forgot how to add photos...

Rear suspension all reinstalled with new bushings etc

Front suspension being reinstalled

My main helper is still involved.

Front brakes installed with the rotors oiled and bagged for storage.

Rear suspension again.

Engine and clutch work begins...

Inside of lower engine looked pretty good.

New parts everywhere...

Brake and clutch master cylinders

Trying to make everything as neat as possible

Steering installed

Later I realized I had a leaking wheel cylinder.  I had installed the rebuild seal backwards and had also forgotten to reinstall the piston spring.  These things happen when a lot of time goes by on such a project...

New front and rear main seals

Engine and trans reinstall

Lots of help

Moving under its own power.  This was the first time I ever got to drive it.

Body work begins.  I'm sure Braden remembers how many rusted out areas there were in the nose of the hood.  I welded in new metal and will finish off with fiberglass reinforced filler.

wow scott, it just seems so unreal.  I guess it was meant to be that I would buy this car and sell it only to give it a second chance @ life.   How does she drive?   i want to know one thing about the engine, did it have an aftermarket cam in it?   It was very very lopey when I had it running. Can you take some pictures of it?

I have only driven it in the yard...no seats in it and I need to set the toe-in better.

The engine seems pretty smooth to me.  I did adjust the valves before I ever started it.  I'm sure the carbs need to be cleaned and adjusted, but it fires right up.  I haven't even checked the timing or cleaned the points.  The cam has a stamp on it that makes me believe it is stock.  I can't remember the number, but I remember finding the info on the internet as one that was offered.
