Yes the Nova had the best name in the world, I named it DUSTI! Rusty as far as horse power I am not sure but I can tell you it is built, I can stand on the gas and it will cut a complete donut!

Well there is no need for a dyno, I have a built engine that I have had for 5 years that has never been ran. It is just shy of 1000 hp

Well boys and girls my Nova has collector car insurance on it. No emissions required. I insured it for $10,000 and it cost me $239 per year! Now that is not to bad, I am going to take it to a cruise Friday night if I can get the charging system fixed!!!!!!!

Thanks Daniel, I am not going back to the super fast cars but I will be pro street! I just got back from the DMV, I got a vanity plate that say's DUSTI JO, I am building a memorial car out of it and giving it to Everett when he is driving. I think I might put a Vortec V6 in it for a while then!!!! LOL

Well I have had 4 Novas since I have lived in AZ they have all been AZ cars besides this one, it s a Cali car and has a little bit of rust in the quarters and the passenger side has a little bit of body damage due to some one bumping in to it!

I didn't know if it was tied into the thermostat or not.  Awesome!  My old green bean was a mess...  The fan had a potentiometer that I had no idea how to adjust because the knob was gone and there wasn't any markings...  Luckily the po had it working and I didn't touch it... LOL

It looks great in there slam!

I am loving the direction this car is heading, lots of people are contributing to the cause! Exhaust donated, brand new quarter panels donated, complete weather strip kit with widow felt door bumpers and all of the goodies donated. Oh and a guy just dropped off a set of nice buckets for me!

Slam, Awsume Nova!!! Cool I have not ever drag raced but ran a Nova as my first dirt circle track racecar! If you want to get ride of the power steerind belt you can use a manuel steering box. ( There is a 1 1/4 turn lock to lock steering box for a rear steer Chev.)

Just figured I would show a picture of a couple of my close friends that are in fact WWE sup stars, Val Venis and Derick Niekirk. I took them for a ride in my Nova pegging around 165 MPH, they screamed like little girls and tapped out!!! Please over look my finger actions!!!!

Ha ha so true EZ, the Cowl hood is not just for looks, I am stuffing the original 396 back in it with a tunnel ram and 2 4 barrels. The kid I traded in to the car from called me a couple of weeks after I got the car and gave me a history lesson on it and asked me if I wanted the original 396 number matching engine with the original 4 speed tranny. Well heck I do, so I got it, it has been machined and ready to assemble!!!!
