EZ i am with PCD on this one as that is my most favorite color on a Datsun
i say paint the sucker and add some fake patina so it will not rust into dust and last many many more years
Still on the never ending quest to squeeze more from an L series

Yeah Knotty, it is in really good shape...  I just don't know at this point.  I would like to paint it, but I love patina too!  I might clean up the frame, coat it, clean the bottom of the bed and cab and coat it, then fix the engine bay and leave the outside alone for a while...

Smooth, I agree with you.  I want it to continue being solid but I like the patina look for sure..  As long as I clean up the frame and everything but the exterior body.  I feel like I can go back at some point and do the body if I want.  And no, not named yet, but I've been thinking about it...

Not too much progress really.  I made a huge tarp for it out of 10mil plastic after I cracked open the valve cover and saw that there is more rust in there than on the truck, HAHA!!  My real progress and reason for being AWOL is my house I've been working on, which is nearing completion!  I'm kind of slowing down on it now so I'll have more time to get on here and post pictures in my house thread.  Oh yeah, should have your cap in the mail late next week!
