I'm back at it again. I think I mentioned that I found a set of Titan wheels for cheap. So I finally bored out the centers on the fronts. Screwed them up becuase my bit came loose and then I went too deep on the other one. So once I finally learned how to do it I found another pair for cheap from a friend. Bored. Done. Easy. I'll chalk it up to a learning curve. Scuffed and sanded the gouges. These were pretty rough to begin with. Painted them Toyota Bronze last night at a friend's body shop. After four coats of base and four coats of clear they turned out absolutely beautiful. I'm in love with the color and can't wait to get
my Pirellis mounted on them tomorrow.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I finally got it registered and new plates for it too. I went to the DMV and asked for the special vintage Blue circa 1982 Nevada plates. Then they actually asked me what number I would like to have on it. I thought they would charge extra for a custom message but they said as long as it's 3 letters and 3 numbers and nobody has it already then they would make it for me. I'll give y'all 1 guess what I picked... 3 weeks later and presto!!!

Rims turned out great, can't wait to see them on. I'd say win on the plates! And no extra charge. For my personalized plate on Ole Blue, it's $60 a year. Atleast thats what I think I paid last time.

Does anyone have any ideas which shocks work best once you've lowered a 720? I turned down the torsion bars up front for about 3.5" of drop and put 3" blocks on the rear. I've been talking back and forth with KYB but I'll have to take some static measurments for them first. i.e. shocks in and shocks out measuring between the two mounting points. I'm pretty much bottomed out on the front right now I think.

rusty, you are getting screwed on the plate, I pay 80 cents a year for my historical!!!!!!!!    Yeah, .80$ lol   you pay as much in one year as I would for 75 years!!!
