Here is the story of my 300ZX. It was originally purchased by a friend of the family new in 1985 in Albuquerque, NM. It was driven as a daily driver for about 12 years or so and only taking a couple of trips to Las Vegas. It then sat for almost 7 years before it was given to me in December as a X-Mas gift. My father in law tried to seel it first but it had been sitting for so long no one wanted it. So I took her home to Cali where I started getting her back on the road. here is a list of things I have done to her and a list of things I want to do in the future.

Things done:
Fuel tank
Fuel level sending unit
fuel pump
Timing belt
Belts
Hoses
Injectors(factory replacement)
Lower ball joints
Steering rod ends(?)
"lazy eye" mod (lights don't come up when turned on)
tune up
new tires

Things I want to do:
Jim Wolf Technology 450 HP package With T3/T4 Hybrid Turbo
Power leather Turbo seats from an 88-89 Z
IPad mounted into the dash (or similar)
All new interior
alarm system
sound system
89-93 maxima 90Amp Alt upgrade
Electric cooling fan
inter cooler (the Turbo Zs didnt come with them)

and here are some pics

Damn that's clean!  Good thing you ended up with it and decided to put forth the effort!  The Ipad would be perfect with tuning the car!  I bet the maxima alternator was a fantastic upgrade..  Us truckin guys sometimes swap over to a saturn 90amp alternator, which is like swapping to a flux capacitor!!

I hope you keep up the interest in putting the Jim Wolf kit on there.  They make great daily driver performance packages that are worth the money honestly!

The tuning part still needs some work. I have a bad CHTS so she will run like crap sometimes. I plan on fixing that this winter when the weather cools off some, and I have the money for new camshaft and crankshaft seals and everything else that I will find that will need to be replaced.
