I am assuming again that this is a late 720 with a Z24 block, most just replace the headgasket, this is a common issue with the 720s with a "Z" block, the fix is to re-torque the headgasket every tune up, that way one does not blow headgaskets.
I know the voices are not real, but they have some really good ideas.

Fel-pro gaskets seem to be the best for the price to me.

Cant go wrong with a fel-pro head gasket
if you put a few light coats of permatex copper coat on the head gasket and let it dry then a wet coat just before installing it will seal great and take a bit more heat before it will blow.
I have done this to many head gaskets with great success, my daily LZ22 gets up to 230° regularly and have hit 280 no problems in 4 years of hard driving
Still on the never ending quest to squeeze more from an L series

I agree^^^^^^^^
Installed FelPro on a L18, LZ20, and on my current L20 with SSS head and they all withstood my lead foot 8k RPM addiction. Maintained properly it will last forever. I re-torque it to specs at least once a year during a tune up. They're durable & reliable.
