rednekotr: just give us a heads up, we can work out the details when the time comes.

Braden  it's in Canada, the town he lives in is above the state of Montana.

This may be asking too much but would you be willing to cut me a donor panel? If not I completely understand. As I do not know what these are worth nor do I want to put a price on any piece of that collection, I would prefer if you could give me a price. Here is the piece I need. I am slowly building this truck and the body does need work, but this is the worst part of it.

Edit: Sorry I goofed with this post... All those Datsuns made me forget to add my year and model Tongue I have a 74 620. All I really need would be the bottom portion that is factory welded on. The local body shop says that even though the previous owner did a horrible job, he did not dagame the upper part much from what they can see on the under side.

2nd Edit: ... dagame... lovin that start struck datsun spelling... Damage*

you could cut the bottom piece off, drill out the spot welds, and weld a new on ein place very easily.  Is your piece rusted out or is it just dented in and slathered with bondo?  Maybe you could chip out the filler and beat the panel back into shape.

I haven't been able to fully look at it cause of all the rain. With the minimal rust everywhere else (the PO actually did have the truck undercoated) I would have to say its dented. What I have been looking for is someone who has a donor that doesn't mind doing exactly what you stated and sending be the bottom :)

Its supposed to be nice tomorrow and we are tearing down the brakes so I'll try to get pics under the truck and post them to my build thread.

Edit: Oh, forgot to mention the PO said he had a blow out and that is what dented the back, but I don't know how true that is. After all he did lie about the carb.

Kirden, if redneck can't help you out, I got a rusted out bed (going to scrappers) that might have that rear lower section. Post your zip and I'll wait to see what redneck has to say.

I do have some but there is a little problem. The snow is too deep right now to get one out. This spring I can get one out and plasma it off for you. If you would like one sooner Kim could probably help you out with one he has. DAMN SNOW ANYWAYS.

Sorry it took so long to respond, been riffling through some parts that came in for my 620 and the civic.

My zip is 31211.

I checked out the panel today from the underside and the bottom half is a basicly gone. They didn't repaint it after the bondo job so it is pretty badly rusted. The top portion looks like it can be repaired without bondo from underneath, but I really won't know till the bondo is removed and that lower panel is gone.
