Yeah that is all you need to do is a mild restore, this is a greatly preserved truck. I love these trucks for many many reasons, the main reason is because it is a Datsun of course, but one of the reason is because from the front view in a distance people mistake is for a 55 Chevy Bel air. Like cruising up to a mixed meet everybody stops and stares at the 55 Chevy rolling up and BAM what the hell that aint no 55 Chevy, well what the heck is it. It is our dirty little secret so figure it out for your self!!!!! So does anybody else think from a distance this looks like a micro 55 Chevy??????? Once again welcome to DMT
You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille

Hi Marco welcome to DMT.  I have met Marco & have dealings with off an on as I find parts that I know he needs.  Morco is a great person to deal with, very honest.  I consider him a personal friend.  Good guy,  right up there in the Slam Category!  LOL

I have not personally seen his truck but I hope to be able to assist Marco with the wiring and what ever else I can.

haha,,,,, thanks charlie....i the same

nice to meet you slam

yeah, the datsun bug hit hard when i went to a car show full of fords and chevys at a bobs big boy a while back... i was only able to clean up the engine bay a little  and drove it down there on hopes and miracles (the truck was loosing its transmission/clutch) but i made it.... at first no one really saw it, because it was so small sandwiched between a fully custom chevy crew cab and a ford classic but i made some progress and got noticed. when i drove out the lot is when it impacted because a lot of people were looking saying "thats cool, what is that?!" what solidified my love for datsun trucks was the last carshow right before i lost my transmission in culver city. that car show, a lady walking by the trucks/cars i was parked next to and said "i dont care about these other ones, i want this one"... she said it was cute but thats besides the point, lol...

like i said, its getting there. slow progress but its getting there.

i'll post pics and update as they come

once again, thanks for the welcome everyone. :-)
