Great truck!!!!   are those furry kick panels? I have a LIKE NEW auto tranny I will trade you for your manual when you swap it out, it will come with matching like new torque converter and flexplate. It was pulled from an l20b 610 wagon with 3,000 original miles back in the day. The car had been wrecked, and the tranny has been stored inside in the dry full of fresh fluid ever since. Where are you located? I couldnt find anywhere named MDR lol.

Well, IT LIVES!!!!!! I have a video but can't upload it straight from my phone. It sounds oh so good. I had the ignition switch wired wrong, but the diagram was not of the highest quality. So I got that fixed, cleaned the plugs, de-fuel fouled the cyls (gotta love FIRE!!!!), changed the fuel contaminated oil, and a new fuel filter. And it fired. Took a bit for it to smooth out and run great.

Also I pulled the valve cover and polished it up ( still needs some sanding but looks good all in all), the insides look clean enough to eat off of. This motor is CLEAN!!!! I love it!

Well, am having an issue with the lighting. someone, in their infinate wisdom, decided to remove the factory headlight relay. so I have been trying to get the headlights working and the writeup Beebani did on Ratsun just isn't working like it should. with how its written up it keeps all the lights on, highs and lows, until the highs are hit then the highs go off. So I tried running a different relay, wired to the original wiring PLUS a seperate trigger wire and it kept popping the fuse. Went all the way up to a 30 amp and it kept popping it.
I think that relay is bad. it should work the way want it to but it just isn't.
I just want a regular original headlight relay......   does anyone hve one??????

you would really benefeit from an aftermarket relay, its considered an upgrade. I think you can still get a oem style relay on rock auto. Look at this diagram. Rip your old wires out and start fresh.
