I have owned her for 20 yrs I have driven my truck as far north as Fairbanks Alaska and as far south as panama and to Maine and to key west Florida it has been to every state capital in the us it took 8 years but I did it.
it was kind of a working vacation with only a few problems with the truck like water pump, clutch and slave cyl, u joints but all in all never left me on the side of the road going "AH sh*t WHAT DO I DO NOW"

still runs great and I am on the second motor the first motor was in the truck when I got it and I got 200,000 or so out of it before it started to smoke.
this one has around 100,000 and still runs great.
I just finished redoing the interior will post pics later
photo bucket is down.
I put led lights in the dash and led courtesy lights to light up the driver and passenger floor area and a vdo tach and white faced oil pressure and water temp gauges in the dash on top of the heater controls I still have the stock ones hooked up so I have the and idiot light and a gauge for the oil and two water temp gauges (better safe then sorry) it looks good
I used grey indoor/outdoor carpet on the dash and console's and for the headliner and door panels.
I also built an old school console up above my head for my stereo and cb and 300 watt kicker with a ford dome light with map lights I used a set of good 95 ford escort bucket seats they fit perfect and the rear area behind the seats I built a box with opening lids for storage like the jack and misc tools. and new floor carpet 1/8" padding to deaden the road noise.
I am going to take pics today and ill post them as soon as photo bucket come back up.

Here is a pic I took 6 months ago

Here is a pic I took back in 2004 in the backwoods of Arkansas
I will post pics of the interior in a little bit
I started the redo of the interior 1/14/14 and just finished it yesterday1/23/14 it was around $200.00 in materials.
the exterior I am still working on it is all sanded and primed
and I took off the shell so I can redo it and redo the carpet kit
and the have the whole truck painted the factory blue.

Welcome to DMT.  You have an excellent truck!  Glad it has been enjoyed so much!!!  Get yourself a build thread, or have this one moved to the 620 section.  We all love pictures of Datsuns!

I'll never get rid of her because my 6yr old daughter was conceived in the back of it.
now I am the parent and her biological mom is in prison where I put her and hating life for the next 20 years for doing stupid sh*t behind my back.
plus it is going to be her first truck she loves to ride in it
like a big girl because she gets to ride in the front seat.
I have 7 other vehicles but she likes this one the most.

yes it is a lot quieter and warmer I also have new door seals and window felt.
the only thing I notice now is a little bit of t.out bearing noise that I did not here before i guess I need to change the clutch and t.o. since I have not done it since 1997 and for at least 100.000 miles.
it still works great but the noise bugs me and every now and then it jumps out of 5th gear on a flat road.
