I bought this truck 20 years ago for $100 in very rough condition. I drove the truck for a few years and then decided to rebuild it. I wanted to use a 4 or 6 Nissan fuel injected motor but I didn't know how to wire the motor. My local parts dealer had a wiring harness for the 4.3 so I went that route instead. The front fenders were so badly rusted out that I build fiber glass fenders and the hood 3 inches longer for the 4.3. The front suspension is from an 84 Nissan 4x4, as well as the rear axle and the tilt steering column. I've added rear disk brakes with sway bar. The exhaust system has ceramic coated headers and stainless muffler and tail pipe. The heat and air conditioning is Vintage Air, and I've added auto meter gages. The cab is 12 inches longer from using a spare door section from another truck. I'm hoping to put the dash in soon, and will post more pictures when I have the doors and hood back on.

Very cool. Did you do the work on the cab to stretch it out as well?
Looks really good so far. Keep us updated please.

thanks everyone for your comments. Sorry for the delay I wasn't getting notifications. Lots of progress on it so far. I will update soon with more pictures. Jester- yes I've done all the work myself except for the paint job, stretched it out 12 inches. Rusty- yes I've built everything on the truck including the bumper which I made out of aluminum. I just had the small side windows, and back window made and I put them in this weekend. Waiting for my door handles to come in as their being rechromed.
